NS Dept of Fisheries & Aquaculture - Site Location Optimization
The Nova Scotia Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture required consultation to determine optimum aquaculture locations for some of their clients. A collection of wave models were generated based on historical Hurricane track information, Environment Canada wind records, bathymetry as well as land-based elevation data. A series of wave-height maps were generated to display the results.
