GIS Consulting and Technical Assistance City of Summerside, P.E.I., Canada GeoNet provides technical assistance to the City of Summerside in the ongoing implementation of their Geographic Information System, both in developing applications and in the assessment of technology to meet their needs. Urban Base Mapping Facilitation MAGP, Moscow, Russia GeoNet provided Technical Assistance in Moscow, to identify and resolve many obstacles which were preventing digital map production in the Moscow office. City of Summerside, P.E.I., Canada This involved, through a series of interviews with Summerside's Functional Groups, the identification of the uses of GIS, the description of the data (graphic and attribute) required, and the location of the data sources. Using these results, GeoNet assisted with the design and hands-on implementation of the City's GIS. |
