Digitization of ENCs and Production of S57 Canadian Hydrographic Service This involves creating Electronic Navigation Charts from graphic source material, to CHS specifications and conversion to the IHO standard S57 Edition 3 format. The process includes scanning, registering, vectorizing, digitizing, plotting, and building topology to charts at various scales. Work has been performed for the Atlantic, Quebec, Pacific and Central and Arctic regions. Canadian Hydrographic Service This consists of the geo-referencing of raster chart layers and updating chart features, including Notices to Mariners. Production of S57 ENC and Digest DNC Australia This involved the production of both S57 ENC (Electronic Navigational Chart) data as well as Digest DNC (Digital Nautical Chart) data as a pilot project. US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) This consists of the production, to supplement source compiled features, the structuring of the data, and the conversion to S57; together with quality assurance, of Nautical Charts for US coastal waters. |
